Gayle Crowell is a highly experienced Board Director, CEO, C suite executive, strategic business advisor, executive coach and speaker with extensive experience in both venture capital and private equity backed technology companies. An influential leader in the Silicon Valley, Gayle sharpened her management and operational acumen through executive roles at leading software companies, including Oracle Corporation, E.piphany, RightPoint Software, View Star, Mosaix, Recognition International, DSC, and Cubix Corporation. Through the years, she successfully led several companies through challenging turnarounds leading to multiple successful exits. After an outstanding operating career in technology, Gayle transitioned to a decade-long role as a Senior Strategic Business Advisor at Warburg Pincus, one of the world’s leading private equity firms. In this capacity, she collaborated with high-growth companies across the technology, financial services, logistics, and healthcare sectors, leveraging her extensive expertise in operations, sales, and organizational management. Her focus was on driving business strategy, accelerating revenue growth, assessing market opportunities, and building world-class management teams. As a former CEO, Gayle understands the challenges senior leaders face in building sustainable, long-term world-class businesses in today’s very competitive environment. Her hands-on knowledge, coupled with a keen perspective into the capital markets brings a unique and valued viewpoint to the companies she advises. She is particularly skilled in developing winning to-to-market strategies, executing successful business models in the B2B space as well as leveraging her extensive knowledge of SaaS market. Additionally, Gayle has been instrumental in helping companies discover and develop profitable data monetization models adding significant value to their core business. Her experience includes participating in a large number of M&A transactions, resulting in substantial returns to the investors.
Coco Brown is the Founder and CEO of Athena Alliance. Athena has helped thousands of leaders build their Portfolio of Impact and grow and advance in their executive careers. The company has also brought almost 500 women to corporate boards from growth stage private companies to name brand public companies. Coco has personally worked with hundreds of top leaders, CEOs and boards to evolve modern leadership. She’s served on ten commercial and non-profit boards and advisory boards, and has led two notable companies (Taos, acquired by IBM, and now Athena). We have an incredible community of female leaders at Athena and we want to bring you closer together! Join a Peer Group and build a network of peers you can engage with for guidance, lessons learned and insights around a shared interest. Choose a topic that most interests you or drop in and out of multiple peer groups as it suits you best. You’ll find at least one peer group available to join every week. Each live session goes for one hour, no preparation is needed, just show up as you are. We look forward to seeing you there!
A Learning Circle is an opportunity to connect with a small group of other Athena members in a focused yet casual setting, creating accountability around targeted learning to assist you in achieving your goals. Over the course of 6 sessions, club members will meet every 2 weeks to participate in an organic, peer-led discussion of the session's "chapters" consisting of 1-2 Athena salons which are to be reviewed on your own prior to the group session. When joining, members are committing to completing all 6 sessions.
Typically led by one of Athena's coaches, networking events provide members an opportunity to meet one another in a smaller intimate and virtual setting.

A workshop is an interactive session for members to actively practice something, such as their pitch. These sessions typically involve breakout rooms, member to member feedback and are not recorded.
